Klaas Heufer-Umlauf supports some nonprofit campaigns and organizations. Among other things, he is involved in the campaign “iCHANCE” for adults illiterate people in Germany as well as the German Bone Marrow Donation.

He also has a clear political opinion: in 2013 and 2014 he supported the SPD in the Bundestag and European elections respectively. In addition, Joko and Klaas strongly criticized right-wing ideas in a video under the motto #mundaufmachen.
Fake allegations: Klaas Heufer-Umlauf apologizes

It was recently revealed that some of the televised contributions of Joko and Klaas had been made. The late night berlin presenter apologized for this: “I can understand anyone who was disappointed. I would like to apologise seriously for this and without any irony. This was a mistake without ifs and buts and will not happen again.”

Klaas Heufer-Umlauf is regarded on television as an entertainer who is available for every nonsense. Together with his colleague Joko Winterscheidt, he has been making the German television landscape unsafe for years. But what about his private life? Does he have children with his girlfriend Doris Golpashin?

The sympathetic presenter was born on September 22, 1983 in Oldenburg, where he also attended the secondary school. After that, however, Klaas’ career did not begin in the television business.
Klaas Heufer-Umlauf: Hairdresser and make-up artist

Prior to his TV career, Klaas trained as a hairdresser. He then worked as a make-up artist. After his first stage experience as a teenager, he played in some plays at the Oldenburg State Theatre.

After numerous stops at VIVA, MTV and ZDF, he finally landed at ProSieben together with his presenter buddy Joko, where he has also hosted his own late-night show “Late Night Berlin” (always on Mondays at 11.10 p.m. on ProSieben) since March 2018. Since May 5th, the two can also be seen again at the show “Joko and Klaas vs. ProSieben” (8.15 p.m.).
